PRESENT PERFECT TENSES:

BUT BEFORE! LETS REVIEW THE RULE:

The Present Perfect Tense is formed using the following structure:

Affirmative: Subject + Have / Has + Past Participle

Negative: Subject + Haven't / Hasn't + Past Participle

Question: Have / Has + Subject + Past Participle

Now! lets answer: Past or Present Perfect Tense – Simple form

1. The weather _________________ (be) awful in the past few days.

2. We _________________ (wash) the dishes. They’re clean now.

4. Emma _________________ (pack) her suitcase last night.

Practice: Read the six sentences that have been removed from the article (pg 58 from your students book), Choose from the sentences A-G the one which fits best each gap (1-6). There is one extra sentence´which you dont nedd to use. Replace the bold phrases with the correct highlighted phrasal verb.
